Tai Chi has shown me many of its secrets. Being a woman in my late (very late) 40’s I didn't think I could do any kind if martial arts, but I was wrong!

At first while your body is conditioning you think to yourself, ”what are you doing?” Then when those break throughs happen and you really understand and feel the difference in your body, mind and spirit you want everyone to know.

My stress has been reduced, my body healing from several old ailments, my focus has improved and my attitude has changed – you know – calmer, peaceful.

The people in our class are of such quality – kindness and passion for the martial arts flows though out. Everyone is supportive and works together no matter what the task at hand is. My life has truly been enriched be this experience and I strongly encourage people to come and feel the power of Tai Chi.

I Started Tai Chi to help with rehabilitation after surgery to repair a torn ACL. The movements mirrored many of the exercises at the PT Clinic and added more by working both sides so that there is balance and neither becomes stronger than the other. After several weeks, my body seemed to want the exercise and the relaxation learned during the movements has helped at work and home. Just because some of it is slow doesn’t mean that it isn’t challenging and a good workout. It is several years later and I remain in Tai Chi while returning to a hard style because the Tai Chi taught by Master Green has become so enjoyable and rewarding that I never thought of stopping. It is now a very natural part of my life.

I find Tai Chi very beneficial to my overall health. It improves my coordination, balance and flexibility. When I focus on the movements and breathing during the practice, the stress and worry slip away.
